Verdict
Based on the manufacturer’s design and description, this tent is best for hunters or for groups of people, may it be with your friends or family. But as we go on with our tent evaluation, we detected some flaws that may come to your disadvantage.
What we like about this tent is the simplicity of the design. It has only one door and 5 windows with inner zippered doors. Looks compact if you focus on its physical features. The only thing with the said features is that it became the contrast of comfortability. We will discuss this as we go on with our review.
Comfort
This tent can accommodate up to 10 persons. It is designed like a tunnel with 3 divisions however, there is only a single door. Every division has zippered tailored doors and walls with inverted seams.
The total floor area of the tent is 169 square feet or 15.7 square meters. If you divide the space from the capacity it can cater, we can’t assure you the tent can provide big sections per member but each will have enough quarters. From our estimation, every division fits larger than a queen-size bed.
You can give this tent your trust for the maximum capacity it requires because it can really accommodate the number given but this works only if you use it for hunting. However, for camping aspects, your companion will surely seek comfort and this is the time you need to reduce the number of people to enter the tent. That’s a total disadvantage but to adjust for the relaxation of everyone most especially with family outings, this would be a great idea.
On the other hand, the peak height of this tent is 75 inches or 191 centimeters. We considered this to be one of the tallest tents we tested. But, it will still depend on the height of the people who will use it.
For storage, the Slumberjack Overland 10-Person Tent is equipped with small pouches on the sides of every room. These pockets are only able to store small belongings. Another negative feature for your other things, however, there are several hooks or hanging components for the extra gears. These elements have limitations.
Now let’s talk about the door and windows. From our evaluation, it is a fact that this tent has only one door for entrance and exit. You may be disappointed because it is one of the factors that tents are compressed inside but, this tent can show you that the width and height can satisfy the space you require. The problem is, the whole material of the door has no mesh.
There are two inner doors for the divider of the rooms and these have mesh designs on top of its areas. We also wonder why the mesh is established on the internal doors, not on the outer part.
There are a total of 5 double layer windows. These windows possess zippered mesh and panels. It takes back the lack of mesh on the main door, however, it is located on the higher part of the tent. You will not be able to see the surroundings if you are lying.
Since the windows and inner doors’ mesh are located on the higher parts of the tent, you need to close this when it rains because it will cause water to leak inside. It can grant proper ventilation but not on the said weather conditions. You will need to open the upper part of the main door for airing.
Weather Resistance
As stated in the description of this product, this is a 3-season tent. When we tested this tent during our latest trip, this can actually endure rains. It is understandable that it is also capable of summer weather but be warned that this isn’t recommended to be utilized in intense or extreme weather like winter.
It can be used for hot or summer weather however, we will be reminding you that the parts of the tent that have to mesh are only the windows. The ventilation will be very deficient.

Minimal gear carry is the only answer to decrease the total weight of the tent. The best choice is to transport it using a vehicle.

The packed size has a length of 26.5 inches and 10.25 inches depth. That’s 67 x 26 centimeters. We commend this since this is a big tent.
Durability
The fabric of the Slumberjack Overland 10-Person Tent is furnished with 66D Polyester. It is rated with 1200 millimeters while the floor is 1500 millimeters.
